During the month of July, HAL artist Martina Dyer will be exhibiting watercolor paintings at the Huntsville Times Gallery.  The Huntsville Times Gallery is located at 2317 Memorial Parkway SW, 35801, and is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

HAL Artists Heike Covell and Terri Shows continue their exhibit at the Heritage Club on Washington Street through the end of July. 

The Huntsville Art League Gallery and Visual Arts Center (HAL) will "Limelight" the HAL artists who participated in "Collector's Draw 2008" during July and August.  This will be an excellent opportunity to see what your favorite artists have been doing of lately.  The HAL Gallery is located at 3005 L&N Drive Ste. 2 35802 and is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sundays from 1pm to 4pm.

 Madison County DHR is sponsoring a back to school clothing project for the foster children of MadisonCounty. Partner with us by selecting a child or children to sponsor for the back to school season.  Each volunteer will be assigned a child to shop for and will take purchased clothing to one of four locations.

 Footlights Community Theater in Athens is offering a drama workshop to the general public ages 5 and up at Julian NewmanElementary School  on August 18-22^nd from 3:30-5:30pm with a performance on Saturday, August 23^rd.
