Hey, I’m Steve!

You can hear me weekdays from 3-7pm on 104.3 ZYP.

I’m playing all the hits, giving away a ton of stuff and talking about what’s going on in my life and sometimes yours.  Plus we discuss lots of local info and happenings.  I’m also in charge of programming for WZYP and our sister station 93.3 Nash Icon plus Operations Manager for our group of Cumulus radio stations.

When I’m not on the radio, you can find me at a ton of ZYP events. Festivals, shows, live broadcasts, giving away prizes and more.  I’m no stranger to the ZYP truck.

Personally, we have a blended family… I have a son who can actually drive a car now (Levi) and Bekah and I have baby twins (Charlie & Chloe) along with our cats Rex and Annabelle.

Aside for enjoying long walks on the beach (standard line), I enjoy quite a few things in a variety of categories:

Hiking (bonus if there is a waterfall included)
Going to concerts and festivals (It’s awesome to be close to Nashville and Bham)
Swimming (pool, lake, river, beach… anywhere)
Traveling (mountains, beaches, islands… let’s go!)
Storm Chasing (tornadoes, hurricanes or just a storm with some amazing lightning)
Drinking margaritas and eating out
Playing the gameday music at Huntsville Havoc games
